Our God Is Almighty

Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

God can do anything! It’s impossible for us to completely fathom this in our brains, but it is possible to accept the fact: God can do what cannot be done. For instance, it is “impossible” to make something out of nothing. No angel or devil can take emptiness and make fullness. No scientist can take a vacuum and bring about a world; but God can. He made the rules of nature, and He lives above them. If He can make a lamp of oil last many times longer than it should, He can bring finances to His children who ask. If by the blast of his nostrils he can part a sea, He can show you what you should do with your next big decision. If He can raise up the dead, He can work in someone to bring them to faith. Most of our failures are because we are too afraid that it simply won’t work out. Remember: anything we never start will always end up as failure. Nothing done for God’s purpose can fail. It may not work out the way we expected it to, but God has always done something we don’t see. God is interested in our life, and has a specific mission for each person. It’s important to your success as a Christian to accept the fact that God can do the impossible! Step out on that stormy sea, and prove to your own mind that our God is Almighty.
